Liana Dressner, LCSW, is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She is a graduate of the New York University School of Social Work with an Masters Degree in social Work.

Her focus is:

  1. Working with women in transition.
  2. Working with interpersonal issues including; work, adult children, and marriage.
  3. Working with couples to improve their communication skills.
  4. Bereavement and abandonment issues.

Liana's clinical orientation is to strengthen client's self worth and self image leading to an enhanced life of intimate relationships,increased happiness and peace, and giving to others. Her passion is to work with clients to enhance their current relationships and make peace with the past.

After finishing social work school she went for advanced training at Hunter College; Brookdale Center on Aging and earned a Post Master's Certificate in Clinical Treatment of the Aging. She completed a Certificate in Palliative and End of Life Care including an emphasis on Bereavement Counseling at New York University. She completed training at the Alzheimer Foundation in Developing Groups for Caregivers and Newly Diagnosed Patients. After one year of intense group work and group interaction the Eastern Group for Psychotherapy awarded her a Certificate in Group Psychotherapy.
